Fragments of Wholeness (2025-)
Within this series, I am exploring the search for wholeness through transformation. For me, nature serves as a metaphor for our inherent interconnectedness with the world around us. It reflects the idea that we, as human beings, are not isolated entities but part of a larger, living system. The work reflects a personal and philosophical quest to reconcile the seeming dualities within myself—seeking to bring together opposing forces, not as contradictory elements but as complementary aspects of a unified whole.
I bring together fragments of the natural world—cutouts from vintage nature books—arranged on paper stained with plant-based inks I make myself. Through this process, I explore the quiet dialogue between found forms and organic surfaces, seeking a sense of connection and transformation.
